Fitzroy made it three wins from as many starts last weekend, after overpowering Camberwell by 37 points at Brunswick Street Oval. Kicking the opening three goals of the game Fitzroy fought hard against their eastern suburbs opponents, before another strong third quarter set up their third win in a row.

Alexander Croft returned to the side and had an immediate effect putting a number of majors on the board early as the Roys snatched the ascendancy. Zac McArthur was also dangerous up forward slotting his first of the season as the Roys took a three goal lead into the first break.

Camberwell came out fighting in the second and if it wasn't for some inaccurate kicking could well have had the lead at the long break. With more scoring opportunities but unable to register a major on the board, the Sharks trailed the home side at main change 0.10 to 3.4.

As they had done so the round before, Fitzroy returned from the half-time break with a renewed sense of energy and vigour. Winning the majority of the ball the Roys took control of the game, slamming on a number more goals through their major target upfront Alexander Croft.

Dom, Patty & Hoddy also registered on the scoresheet, while a lucky snap from Jordan in the final term topped off the Roys fourth win over the Sharks in just two years.

Captain Dom Pound-Palmieri was once again best-on-ground, racking up a stack of touches up front, down back, on the ball and in the ruck. Justin Galligan's overhead marking prowess was once again on display, while Finlay Wilkins and newcomer Sean Dillane were also amongst the best.
