It has been a while since we have won at St Marys, I think last time we won there she was just Mary.

So much was promised in the the first two quarters as the Roys really fired on the park and a ripple of excitement swept the supporters on both sides of the ground, it looked like it could be our day. Despite some early goals from St Marys the Roys going forward were impressive, decisive and accurate with the ball.

At the quarter time break we were on top & at half time we were giving them a real game.

St Marys came out hard in the second half and kicked a stack but we still looked good going forward & were half a chance at the last break. It was not to be our day and we walked off the park with 32 to 101. Even when it looked lost there was still some great performances and fighting spirit shown by team members with Martin, Ellia, Jessy, Adam & Charlie standing out.

We play the other St Marys team again in a few weeks and this time we will sing the song.
